The Bochum Center for Disability Studies (BODYS) cordially invites you to an open session as part of the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) "Ethical Reflections on Mental Health".

Thursday, April 25, 2024, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (CET), online

In this mini-conference, self-advocates from different (professional) backgrounds will share their views on the (re-)production of stigma in the mental health care system. The social construction of the stigma "mentally ill – violent", connections between migration, mental health and cultural participation, the relationship between users and professionals of mental health care and the importance of self-determination in these contexts are addressed.
